Cinemark West Plano and XD Theater

This is my favorite place to see movies in the Plano / Carrollton area.  Twenty screens serve up the newest films and occasional classics.  They have Real-D, XD, 3D and every other D you can think of.  Cinemark has invested in reclining seats which now requires that people reserve their specific seat in the theater.  Gone are the days of crowding the line and racing to get the "BEST" seats and throwing your coat over 2 more seats for your friends while they get snacks.

The ticketing system is nice.  You can order everything ahead of time and then print the tickets when you arrive.  Parking can be tight during peak hours.  With the recent development there are several restaurants in the parking lot.  You can walk from dinner to the show.  Also there is a full-service bar in the lobby where you can get a bit relaxed and fed before the show.

Top shelf liquors for your favorite drinks.  They often have themed drink suggestions based off the movies that are showing.  My friends loved the Jedi flavored drinks.  The Dark Side was their favorite.

When you're hungry and the movie's about to start, you can eat in Cinemark Reserve.  Prices are reasonable.  Order at least 20 minutes before the show.  We've never tried to take the food into the theater.  I'm not sure if you can.  But drinks travel.
