We started with an appetizer of Moujadara croquettes; golf-ball-sized, fried spheres of mashed lentils with cartelized onions, served with a bit of yours sauce.
Our main entrees were the Upside Down Lamb Pilaf; lamb shank pieces on a bed of rice with beef bits, sliced almonds and raisins (also with a yogurt sauce on the side) and a Kafta & Tahini plate with vermicelli rice.
The decor was warm and comfortable, the service very attentive, and the food and drink was delicious! Also, the music was quite entertaining, fitting the Lebanese theme nicely.
Zatar also has a covered hookah bar patio adjacent to it, should you be interested in sampling their tobacco offerings.
