Super H Mart has a lot of “ordinary” things grocery store have, but the “extra” is a mind-boggling variety of Asian products. Not being much of a chef myself, I love to walk through the bustling, bright store and just look. It all tempts me to try new things!
Notable is their great produce selection, fresh fish (yes, some is so fresh it’s still alive!), and sushi grade.. well, sushi! Also, cooking implements such as pots, pans and possibly the widest selection of rice cookers in the Metroplex!
Uniquely, there are also “kiosks” for small independent businesses along the east and north edges of the store, and a small food court where you can get Korean, Chinese and Japanese meals! Maybe they’ll inspire you to recreate them at home using ingredients found in the grocery store.
Take an hour or three and check this place out, but beware - you’ll be enthralled!
