Hanabi Ramen has been a reliable choice for me since they opened their
Carrollton store a couple of years ago. The other day I decided it had
been too long since I’d had a bowl of their delicious ramen noodles in a
hearty broth!
My dining companion chose their Tokyo Tonkotsu Ramen (creamy pork broth with a couple of slices of tender pork belly, a boiled egg, bamboo shoots, green onions and takana, and of course ramen noodles!
I thought his choice sounded great, but I went with the “spicier” version; Karami Tonkotsu Ramen. Wow! I don’t know if it was “polite” to pick up the bowl so I could slurp up the last drops, but no one complained!
An additional, special item they have is iced green tea (with free refills!). Yum!
Success has been good to Hanabi Ramen; they’ve recently been named one of the 10 best ramen places in DFW by a local blog, and they just opened their third location in Denton (they have one in Fort Worth as well).
The decor is clean and warm, the service is prompt and the prices are quite reasonable. Beer and wine (including sake) is available. Try Hanabi Ramen soon!
