Historic Downtown Carrollton
This historic square is like no other in North Texas. I know that may sound cliché, but this statement is true. Unlike other surrounding historic squares in North Texas, this quaint square cannot be bought and sold to the highest bidder. Many store owners live in Carrollton and have no desire seeing an outsider commercialize this little piece of Heaven.
This history of North Texas has personality as large as Texas itself. You can spend all day shopping the unique mom and pop stores in this fabulous corner of Texas. They have an antique store, a Quit shop, a vintage candy store, and numerous clothing and jewelry boutiques that are bound to have that MUST have item you will fall quickly in love with. Visit Ten of Arts, The Vintage House, Bellas Passion, Pecan Creek, Honey of a Deal, Blooms Candy store, The Antique Mall, The Craft Store, The Home Store, B Street, Sooz, and the unique rock shop.
Hungry? Enjoy a meal at one of their unique restaurants. Twisted Root, Sid’s Rianbow Grill, C2 CafĂ©, Babe’s Chicken, 55 Degrees Wine Bar, The Cow Tipping Creamery, Beth Marie’s Ice Cream, El Rincon, Cane Rosso, Monkey King Noodle, Amici’s, and The Cuban Bakery.
The City of Carrollton also host free events nearly every other weekend on the square. You will certainly enjoy the concerts, movies, festivals, yoga and car shows, just to name a few. There is always something to enjoy in Downtown Carrollton throughout the year.
