I love hearing about local spots growing huge!
Once upon a time I lived three blocks from TCU in Fort Worth, Texas. In the spring of 2003 I received a flyer in the mail informing me that a new Taco place was opening up down the street. The flyer was an invitation to enjoy complimentary food for the grand opening of this new place, with a funny named, called Fuzzy’s Tacos. The original Fuzzy’s Taco Shop is on Berry Street in Fort Worth, Texas. It was on the first day of the grand opening I was introduced to Fuzzy’s awesomeness. I quickly became their first HUGE fan! I fell in love with their queso and their shredded brisket salad. I also can’t leave out my immediate obsession with their famous Butt Burning hot sauce!
To
nobody’s surprise, Fuzzy’s earned a cult-like following, and that first
location turned into more than 100 across the country. Today, people
join their friends and family, bring their dogs, party on our patios and
feel the festive love every time they walk into a Fuzzy’s. And with
locations popping up nationwide, their Baja tacos, Chips & Guac, and
frozen margaritas are always within reach. Which is reason enough to
celebrate with some, as far as I am concerned.
If you live within the DFW Metroplex. Please feel free to frequently visit one of nearly 50 local locations. I recently visited the Carrollton location on Hebron and North Josey Lane.
I have also been a loyal customer of Fuzzy’s fantastic catering! If you’re living right, you’ll have events pop up from time to time that require lots of food. Birthdays, graduations, anniversaries or big meetings at work. (Sorry to bring up work at a time like this.) Here’s what to do: Let Fuzzy’s cater your event, and you can kick back and enjoy yourself. Unless your event is that work meeting, in which case, at least you’ll be eating Fuzzy’s.
