Great Burgers, great beers, great bands! LSA Burger Co. (the “LSA” stands for “Lone Star Attitude!) is right on the square in downtown Denton. They were founded with the intent of honoring the states musical legends and culture - and providing a venue for what might be the NEXT musical legend to come out of Texas!
LSA Burger Co. has a great vibe, with a rooftop deck overlooking the Denton square and historic courthouse. The deck also houses the stage which hosts both local and visiting musical acts on Fridays and Saturdays. No music on the evening I was there, but I can only imagine how magical attending such an event would be, with the original Denton County Courthouse in the background!
I tried the “Los Lonely” hamburger (a tasty burger patty dressed with green chili’s, romaine lettuce, pepper jack cheese and chipotle mayo) and my companion had the “Psychedelic” (mushrooms, swiss cheese, mixed greens and mayo). Both were perfectly cooked and delicious! We each accompanied our burgers with pints selected from their array of Texas-brewed beers.
Kudos to LSA Burger Co. for creating a magical addition to the Denton square. I’ll be back soon!
