With seven Dallas-area locations Meso Maya has proved that they’ve been doing something right for more than 75 years. I decided to try out their newest location which just opened in Addison.
Executive Chef Nico Sanchez continues to oversee an elevated menu of Oaxaca and Puebla-influenced dishes such as Pollo Con Mole, Cochinita Pibíl, Carne Asada, and Budin Azteca (like a Oaxaca lasagna which can be ordered with beef, vegetables, or chicken and green tomatillo sauce. More traditional Tex-Mex dishes are available as well, and do not disappoint!
Mesa Maya has won multiple accolades, including being named one of Dallas’ best Margaritas (Paper City, February 2018), D Magazine’s Readers Choice Best Chef (2015), Best Regional Mexican Food (2015)and Zagat’s 14 Hottest New Sandwiches Around the US (2015).
