Sunny Street Cafe in Roanoke was an accidental find but has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants. This little cafe serves breakfast, lunch and brunch everyday, delighting its customers. Sunny Street Cafe is a new restaurant to Texas but, three locations have been added in Little Elm, North Dallas, and Roanoke. They're open everyday until 2:30.
Sunny Street Café features a large selection of breakfast and lunch dishes, including huge Buttermilk Pancakes, Stuffed Biscuits and Gravy, Tex-Mex Omelet, Southwest Turkey Club, Buffalo Chicken Salad, homemade soups, fresh fruit, and made-from-scratch muffins. My absolute favorite is their chicken fried steak. It's fresh and battered/breaded/fried in their kitchen.
Sunny Street Café has a large community table, to invite conversation between guests and a private meeting room.
Each Sunny Street Café is also active in their communities. Our local Sunny Street cafes have partnered with local school districts to provide boxes lunches to hungry kids in the summer.
