Single Family
Rivendale Pointe
Priced from $292,990
2,045 square feet
3 bed
2 bath
1 story
2 car garage
This neighborhood is nestled in a gorgeous peninsula on Lake Lewisville. Feel like you are living in a vacation home all year around. The best part of this dream home and location is the affordability! Rivendale Pointe, is a beautiful community in the Frisco area. Community offers a pool, water slides, splash pad, playground, open space and walking trails. In addition, a clubhouse is available for homeowners to use. Fantastic location with easy access to North Dallas Tollway and SH 121 (Sam Rayburn Tollway). Close to everything the area has to offer for shopping, restaurants, and entertainment.
Benefits about purchasing a new home? When you buy a resale house, you get what’s already there. That may include room layouts, ceiling heights and lighting that may have made sense in the1950s or earlier — formal dining rooms, small kitchens, fewer bathrooms and windows, and the like. With a new home, by comparison, you can often participate in the design of interior spaces with the builder, in advance of actual construction. Plus many new homes come with the sophisticated wiring that’s needed for high-speed electronics and communication equipment, entertainment centers and security systems. With an older home, you may have to spend substantial sums of money to take down walls where that’s possible — some are so-called load-bearing walls that are not easily moved — to enlarge rooms in order to create the flowing, more open living space that is preferred today.
When you purchase a new home, everything is essentially new. You wont have any money pit surprises.

Pollo Regio

Pollo Regio has over 35 locations in the DFW area. This is what you will find at Pollo Regio. You will find AUTHENTIC street tacos that taste OUTSTANDING! You will find grilled chicken that taste like the Fourth of July! You will also find prices that you will love ALMOST as much as the chicken and tacos.
Now here is one more reason you need to try one of the many Pollo Regio locations, they give back to the community! That’s right, this place deserves our business for more reasons than the wonderful service and product.

According to Pollo Regio, they originated in Monterrey, Mexico and brought its authentic recipe for open flame-grilled chicken to Texas in the 90’s. Pollo Regio was founded by Mr. Bazaldua. He set up a food trailer that was outfitted with a charcoal grill, over which he cooked his special-recipe marinated chicken. The demand for his chicken was so great that it wasn’t unusual for him to out sell everything by noon each day and already had people placing orders for the next day. It quickly became a successful concept and soon Pollo Regio moved into a regular storefront.

In 2007 Ricardo Camarena joined Pollo Regio as a franchisee and later on he became member and Vice president of the company. A few years later, Hector J. Rodriguez joined the company and became Chief Executive Officer. Pollo Regio’s principals have a great passion for innovation, efficiency, and the pursuit of the highest quality ingredients and products.
Mr. Bazaldua’s legacy continues to be an inspirational and integral part of Pollo Regio for today and future tomorrows.

Brewed-To-Order Boba Milk Tea & Organic Beverages in Texas Non-Powder, Non-GMO, Gluten Free, Vegan & Organic options
This is NOT your typical sweet Texas tea, but as a native Texan, I must say this is some good tasting stuff! There’s an abundance of establishments you can go to if you just want a beverage. But if you’re looking to awaken your senses, connect with others and put a smile on your face, TeaLatte Bar is the place.

This is a spacious café with a very clean minimalist design. What won me over was the quality they instill in their drinks.
Great café to enjoy your drinks while working or studying or just taking a breather like my daughter and I did together.

If you happen to have never heard of boba before, it’s a type of drink that originated in Taiwan and can be anything from a milky tea drink to a fruit smoothie. The common denominator between the drinks is the tapioca “boba” which are round, gummy, and occasionally fruit flavored spheres that you suck up with a wide-bore straw and which create a very interesting textural drinking experience.
This place is worth a visit. The employees are not only nice, they are helpful!

Dunston’s Steakhouse

Dunston’s Steakhouse
5423 W. Lovers Lane, Dallas

Since 1955, when it opened as Gene’s, Dunston’s has been delighting Dallas area families with quality meals, friendly service and a comfortable atmosphere. While fads among Dallas steakhouses come and go, Dunston’s remains a welcome throwback to a less complicated time.
Dunston’s offers beef (both prime and choice grades), along with pork chops and fish. It’s all cooked over an indoor hickory fueled grill, complete with enough flash and sizzle to entertain as you walk by on your way to the salad bar.

I have to say, the self serve salad bar is my favorite part of Dunston’s. It’s not that it’s out of the ordinary, but something about the array of fresh veggies and topping available, loaded into an old-fashioned woven wood salad bowl really satisfies me!
The last time I was there, I had the pot roast Sunday special. It came with two sides, and I chose the salad bar (of course!) and green beans. The pot roast and green beans were just as grandma used to cook, so I was instantly transported back home!

Yes, Dallas has many steakhouses to choose from - many more expensive and many more “fine dining.” But Dunston’s is a classic, and there’s still plenty of room for that in the market. Take a relaxing trip back in time and try Dunston’s soon!

Good Things For All Seasons

Good Things For All Seasons
334 South Main Street
Grapevine, TX 76051
817-251-3673
www.goodthingsforallseasons.com

This is one of the most amazing stores I have ever been in. Christmas is my favorite time of year and summertime is when I miss it the most. This store not only has Christmas, they have stuff for every other season of the year... in the same place at the same time. It's a little disconcerting to see Easter bunnies next to USA YAY headbands but, I love that it is like that. This store is worth a visit just to see their villages set up. Hours of work go into setting up their villages, both Christmas and Halloween. Good Things For All Seasons has niche Christmas items, like the Grinch and nightmare before Christmas. They have an entire wall of Christmas Ornaments, and all the pieces you could possibly need to set up your own Christmas Village.

Check them out soon, they are currently having a sale on their Halloween village materials. Get prepared for this Halloween before anyone else!

One Posh Place at 317 S. Main Street in historic Grapevine, Texas carries highly sought after quality retail brands. They are an authorized distributor of Alex and Ani Jewelry.
When you visit Grapevine's bustling Main Street, make sure to carve out some time to visit One Posh Place. This unique boutique has a giftable item for any family member or friend on your list. One Posh Place has merchandise that would suit any pet lover or wine lover you know. They have gifts for grads, dads and everything in between.

Join One Posh Place on Facebook to find out about their current sales. This is the time of year that we celebrate dads and you can find the perfect gift for dad here. They have towels made perfect for dad that say witty things like, "Sawdust is man glitter", and "If dad can't fix it we're all screwed". One Posh Place also has a nice selection of men's watches, cologne and skin care products.

My favorite part of One Posh Place is their Alex and Ani jewelry. They focus heavily on charms but have a very beautiful selection. What makes them a favorite for me is their charitable works. In 6 years Alex and Ani have donated more than 46 million dollars to non-profits worldwide through their Charity by Design initiative. Some of the pieces in this line were designed by celebrities (like Mandy Moore and Kaley Cuoco) and 100% of the proceeds go to charity.

Kris Tee's

Kris Tee's
102 W. Main Street
Lewisville, TX 75057
214-222-4600
http://kristees.biz/newsite/index.php

Located in the beautiful and historic Old Town section of Lewisville Texas, Kris Tee's t-shirt shop has what you need for your next event or get-together...unification. What better way is there to cheer a graduate across the stage than with an embarrassing baby picture of them emblazoned on the chest of every family member there to witness it? Know what makes office retreats more fun? When everybody is wearing a punny shirt designed specifically for the event.

Kris Tees is a solution to the same generic gift ideas. Instead of an impersonal gift card, give someone an embroidered shirt with their favorite sports team on it. Make your teenager wear a shirt with your face on it as punishment. Give your religious mother-in-law a beautiful embroidered T-shirt with cross on it. The possibilities are endless.

Kris Tee's offers both screen printing and embroidery options. Check them out for personalized gifts for family and friends or even for a work event. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable and are happy to help in any way they can.
