DDONG GGO POCHA is a Korean comfort style fusion restaurant serving South Korean street food and the DFW Metroplex is embracing their culture with delight, this is the perfect place to grab late night munchies, Ddong ggo stays open until 2am. This place is always busy, and the service never disappoints. Whenever you need service from the staff, simply push the button on your table and someone will be with you quickly.
Here are a few must haves when you visit this this place. Korean Beers and specialty drinks await your palate. This place has a watermelon sojuso and a peach sojuso, which are Korean cocktails that you will need to try. Nacho Cheeto French fries, the bomb fries, and their 3 kinds on French fries are wonderful. Honey butter chicken wings, Cheese Teriyaki Chicken, and corn cheese need to be tried. Beware, Korean comfort foods are highly addictive.
The atmosphere is eclectic and lively. Korean pop music video is playing on screens, the walls are decorated with cartoon chickens and digital screens with the number of the table that needs service. The prices are moderate; however, the portions are large enough to share one entree. The name does have an unusual meaning for a restaurant, Ddong Ggo is Korean for butthole. This butthole place has added an element to the DFW metroplex that has been lacking.
Currently there are only 3 Dong Ggo POCHA locations in the United Sates. Starting with K-Town Los Angeles and followed by Fullerton CA and saving the best for last, butt hole finally made it to Carrollton, Texas.
