Sid’s Rainbow Grill in Downtown Carrollton

1107 S Broadway has been named the Rainbow since December 6, 1929.   When you first enter Downtown Carrollton you may catch yourself wondering if you recently entered a Norman Rockwall picture. This place is a literal trip to a time life was more innocent and sweet. Don't judge a book by its cover. Sid's Rainbow Grill does not look fancy or modern, but the place is clean, the food is delicious, and the staff makes you instantly feel like a regular.

You’d expect to find a quaint and classic soda fountain and grill in any historic district. You wouldn’t expect to love it as much as locals love Sid’s. Maybe it’s the memories, or the food, or a little of both, but Sid’s Rainbow Grill, which inhabits both the location and the spirit of the original Rainbow Fountain, delivers on nostalgia and wholesomeness while serving up a mighty good burger. Its hours are limited, which makes it even more special when you can visit this place.

This will soon become one of your favorite lunch spots. Sid’s has a warm Mom and pop atmosphere. Food comes out quick and tasty usually delivered by the owner himself.

Sid’s offers daily specials for only $7.95. This includes a main dish, a side and a drink. I have over heard many people ask if the priced were real. Some have actually asked if the menu and prices were from the 1980s. The food and prices are truly amazing!

Must tries at Sid’s, Chicken Fried Steak, ANY of his burgers, his homemade french fries are a MUST and one MUST try his shakes!!

Do yourself a favor and get yourself over to Sid’s Rainbow Grill as soon as you can.
