J's Burgers N' More

J's Burgers N' More

J's Burgers opened up on Houston street, in Downtown Fort Worth, in May of 1992. They operated there for almost five years before they moved to their current location on Throckmorton. They have been family owned and operated since the day they opened. J's has become a staple of the downtown lunch hour and has grown its fan base exponentially since opening.

Not only is the food delicious, it's priced affordably. My group, two adults and a child, had three full meals (burgers, chicken nuggets and fries) for less than $25.
The most thrilling part about J's is their selection. This restaurant is like an entire mall food court shoved into one building. If you've ever been in a group trying to pick one restaurant to please everyone, you know how difficult this can be. J's is your solution. In addition to the traditional cafe-casual fare, like hamburgers and hot dogs, J's also offers breakfast, Chinese and Thai cuisine. Where else do you know of that you can get a double bacon cheeseburger, a mushroom, ham and cheese omelet, sesame chicken, Gai Siam, Beef Teriyaki, jumbo shrimp and chicken fried steak all in the same place?

On Fridays, J's even offers fried catfish.
I've sampled their sesame chicken and the Thai omelet on previous visits and I've yet to be disappointed. Their burgers are juicy and their international cuisine is tasty, with just the right amount of spice.

If you visit Sundance Square this summer, walk the few blocks to J's and give them a try. Don't get discouraged if they're busy. They move very quickly, while not sacrificing taste, from years of experience with the downtown business lunch rush.
