Nico’s is a place my family and I frequent on a regular basis. It has
amazing food and great Margaritas! Nico’s is a must on your list for
Carrollton eateries.
Nico’s also has many extras that other Mexican Food places don’t. There is an outdoor playground for the kids to play where you can sit outside and enjoy your meal while keeping an eye on the kids. Brunch is served on the weekends from 9am-2pm and features an omlette bar, fresh waffles, and handmade tortillas. You can also grab a Mimosa for $1.00 or a Bloody Mary for $4.00. They also have a nice ballroom available for rent for events that cater up to 150 guests for a decent price. They also have kegs, full bar, music, and even security that are available for your event for an additional price.
Upon arriving we were promptly greeted and shown to our table. Everything was clean, all the staff were friendly and provided good service. We placed an order for Sour Cream Chicken Enchiladas, Carne Asada, and Queso Fundido. The Queso is made with Jack cheese and chorizo, had a nice consistency and had a good flavor. The enchiladas arrived with rice and beans. They were hot and tasted great. The Carne Asada is served with grilled onions, potatoes, avocado, and charro beans. The charro beans taste homemade and have great flavor. Steak was cooked medium rare, was moist and went well with the onions.
Nico’s also offers private parties in the large ballroom. The capacity for the ballroom is 150. Nico’s offers:
