McKinney’s Historic Downtown best burger joint, in my humble opinion, is Square Burger. After being welcomed in and seated, we were told that they serve the highest quality, fresh ingredients. But what does that mean? After asking our most gracious host, she gave us the 411 about their burgers!
The meat is fresh from Local Yocal just down the street where they process and deliver daily to the restaurant. This meat is never frozen. Once you sink your teeth into this flavorful beef, you can taste the difference! These cows are grass fed along with being free of pesticides and hormones.
If you prefer something besides an out of this world hamburger, there are a plethora of other choices on the menu! I went with the salmon burger, and it was equally thrilling as the burger my boyfriend had ordered! These sandwiches are served on soft fresh buns, made by Dallas’s own, Empire Bakery.
Let’s not forget the delectable onion rings, French fries and sweet potato fries! The sweet potato fries were served with a garlic aioli dipping sauce that is decadent! I was too full for desert after my wine and salmon burger but I plan to indulge in desert next time!
This place is my new favorite for sure! With a full bar, plenty of beers on tap, and a mouth watering menu, you will fall in love, too!
